国医大师夏桂成调理月经周期从心论治崩漏

TCM master XIA Gui-cheng’s treatment of metrorrhagia and metrostaxis by curing from the heart and regulating the menstrual cycle

国医大师夏桂成教授认为子宫的藏泻与心肾相关。子宫之藏,实乃肾之封藏;子宫之泻,实乃心气之动。崩漏虽表现为胞宫藏泄失度,经血非时而下,实则为心主血脉、心藏神的功能失职,导致心肾失交,心-肾-胞宫轴的运行失常,血海盈泄失于控制。故治疗崩漏时,夏老在调理月经周期的基础上强调从心论治,采用"清心、养心、镇心、舒心"四法调心安神,一方面恢复其月经周期节律,另一方面恢复心-肾-胞宫轴的正常运行,使子宫开阖有度,实现"调周"与"调轴"的统一。

Professor XIA Gui-cheng believes that uterine’s storing-distributing is related to the heart and kidney. The uterine’s storage is the seal of the kidney, and the uterine’s distribution is the movement of the heart qi. Although the metrorrhagia and metrostaxis is manifested as the failure of uterine’s storing-distributing, and the abnormal flow of menstrual blood. It is actually the failure of the heart to control the blood vessels and to store the spirit, which leads to the failure of the heart and kindey to integrate, the abnormal operation of the heart-kidney-uterine axis, the loss of control of the blood sea. Therefore, professor XIA emphasized treating metrorrhagia and metrostaxis from the heart on the basis of regulating the menstrual cycle. He used the four methods of ‘clearing the heart, nourishing the heart, calming the heart, and relaxing the heart’ to regulate the heart and tranquilize the mind. On the one hand, he restored the rhythm of the menstrual cycle, on the other hand, he restored the normal operation of the heart-kidney-uterus axis, so as to make the uterus open and close properly, and realize the unity of ‘regulating the menstrual cycle’ and ‘regulating the axis’.
