This paper summarizes professor WANG Zu-long’s experience in treating andrology diseases from kidney.Professor WANG Zu-long thinks that men are kidney-oriented, and the occurrence of male diseases is closely related to the function of ‘kidney’ in Chinese medicine. Starting with kidney, ten methods of ‘warming kidney and strengthening yang’‘nourishing yin and kidney’ ‘tonifying kidney and consolidating essence’ ‘tonifying liver and kidney’ ‘nourishing liver and kidney’‘nourishing kidney and reducing fire’, ‘promoting blood circulation and tonifying kidney’ ‘invigorating spleen and kidney’ and ‘communicating heart and kidney’ were put forward to treat male diseases. Unique idea, be good at prescribing medicine to grasp the pathogenesis, enhance the curative effect of the prescription, enrich the understanding of the theory of ‘kidney storing essence and controlling reproduction, kidney controlling water, and controlling defecation’ in traditional Chinese medicine, and provide a new idea for clinical treatment of male diseases.
