Analysis on the Effectiveness of English Language Communication in Intercultural Communication

语言是人们直接表达思维、情感的最为有效、直接的工具,作为跨文化交流官方语言的英语,由于各国在传统文化、习俗等方面存在差异,故在交流过程中出现了无效沟通的问题。针对有效英语沟通在跨文化交际中的价值以及英语的工具性进行分析,随后从英语语言的表达、理解、预警三大层面提出提高英语语言沟通有效性的策略。

Language is the most effective and direct tool for people to directly express their thoughts and emotions.As the official language of intercultural communication,English has caused the problem of ineffective communication in the process of communication because of the differences in traditional cultures and customs in various countries.This paper analyzes the value of effective English communication in intercultural communication and the instrumentality of English,and then proposes strategies to improve the effectiveness of English language communication from the three levels of English language expression,understanding,and early warning.
