From Garden City to Public Garden City:The Actuality,Oughtness,and Inevitability of Theoretical Innovation of Urban Planning with Chinese Characteristics

文章将现代城市规划的起源—花园城市理论和集合了我国新时代城市规划建设思想的公园城市理论作为研究对象,总结了中国城市规划理论在生态文明、社会发展和经济转型三大背景下发展创新需求的实然;以应然价值为导向,提出中国城市规划理论创新应遵循本土观、系统观、民生观和发展观;通过分析从花园城市到公园城市背后蕴含的历史趋势,明确以回归空间为核心的创新实质、以价值转换为导向的创新理念,最后得出城市规划中国特色理论的创新贡献。

This paper takes the Garden City Theory-the originator of modern urban planning theory,and the Public Garden City Theory,which combines the urban planning and construction ideas of China in new era,as the research objects,and summarizes the development"actuality"of Chinese urban planning under three backgrounds:ecological civilization,social development,and economic transformation.Guided by the value of"oughtness",this paper puts forward that urban planning theory in China should follow the indigenous views,the system view,the people's livelihood view,and the development view.Through the analysis of the historical trend behind the transformation from the Garden City to the Public Garden City,it makes clear the essence of innovation is to return to space as the core,and the value conversion oriented innovation concept,so that the innovation contribution of urban planning theory with Chinese characteristics is obtained.
