Construction and development of the Hongqiqu Canal from the perspective of Xi Jinping’s Thought of Ecological Civilization

习近平生态文明思想是一个逻辑缜密、科学完整的思想体系,主要包括人与自然和谐共生的生态自然观、绿水青山就是金山银山的绿色发展观、良好生态环境是最普惠民生福祉的生态民生观、山水林田湖草沙是生命共同体的整体系统观、最严密法治保护生态环境的生态法治观、共谋全球生态文明建设的全球生态观,保障了我国生态文明建设科学合理健康发展。红旗渠的修建及开发规划过程,生动践行了习近平生态文明建设理念,不仅发挥了水利方面的作用,更对林州市的生态环境、经济建设、社会发展、人民福祉等带来不可估量的影响,现在依然是林州市城市发展的重要动力源泉。

Xi Jinping’s Thought on Ecological Civilization is a logical, scientific and complete ideological system,which mainly includes the ecological nature concept of harmonious coexistence between man and nature, the green development concept that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets, and a good ecological environment is the most inclusive people’s livelihood. The ecological concept of well-being and people’s livelihood, the overall system concept that mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes, grass and sand are a community of life, the ecological legal concept of the strictest rule of law to protect the ecological environment, and the global ecological concept of conspiracy to build a global ecological civilization have guaranteed the scientific, rational and healthy development of my country’s ecological civilization construction. The construction and development planning process of the Hongqiqu Canal has vividly practiced Xi Jinping’s concept of ecological civilization construction. The impact is still an important source of power for the urban development of Linzhou City.
