Diligence and thrift have been a fine virtue of the Chinese nation for thousands of years.Chinese Communists have inherited and developed this fine tradition,which has formed the unique political character of the Communist Party of China during its growth,development and expansion.The thought of frugality of Chinese Communists has absorbed the nutrition and core spirit of Chinese traditional thought of frugality and promoted the sanitization of Marxist concept of frugality in the process of promoting its innovation and development.According to the changes of specific national conditions and fundamental tasks in various periods,the Chinese Communists have constantly developed and improved the thought of diligence and thrift.Its internal logical evolution clearly reveals the Chinese Communists'deep understanding and faithful practice of Marxism as a scientific theory guiding the people to realize a better life.Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC,the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as its main representative has put forward the thought of diligence and frugality based on the new situation of current social development.A deep understanding of this thought is conducive to better realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and setting sail for creating a better life for the people.
