The illegal addition of chemical drugs in traditional Chinese medicines (TCM) and food is a serious threat to food and drug safety,and is the regulatory focus in China.Research shows that the situation of illegal adulteration is complex and dynamic.In recent years,new trends and characteristics of illegal adulteration have emerged.This article summarizes the current standards for detecting illegally added chemicals and the relevant supervision in China,compares the supervision model in China with those of other countries,analyzes the new trends and problems,and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for tightening supervision and ensuring food and drug safety.
