With the continuous improvement of people's living standards,higher requirements are put forward for living and working space.At the same time,the new development pattern of China's social economy has also made the construction industry slow down its development,adjust the industrial model,and look for a new mode of economic growth,especially in the field of scientific and technological innovation.In the process of architectural decoration design,BIM technology can improve the overall efficiency of architectural decoration design,provide information-based data reference model for architectural content,and provide a new driving force for the architectural decoration design industry.This paper analyzes the significance of BIM technology in the architectural decoration design industry,provides corresponding reference suggestions for the key and difficult points of architectural decoration design,and summarizes and analyzes the current problems faced by BIM technology in the architectural decoration design industry,so as to provide help for such problems for industry colleagues when they encounter such problems in the process of practice.
