As the energy transfer medium of electric drive thermal management system,air conditioning heating system and battery thermal management system of new energy pure electric vehicle,coolant plays a very important role in the thermal management system of vehicle.This article introduces the application and working principle of coolant in new energy pure electric vehicle,and comprehensive the key performance indexes and selection principles of coolant.In addition,the development and application of coolant in new energy pure electric vehicle is prospected in this article.
