Impact of Environmental Information Disclosure Quality on Environmental Performance from the Perspective of Text Analysis

[目的/意义]旨在探讨年报文本信息反映的企业社会责任履行情况,推动环境绩效与企业绩效双收益。[方法/过程]运用机器学习的文本分析方法获取年报语调,采用内容分析法构建环境信息披露质量指标,探讨了年报语调、环境信息披露质量与环境绩效的关系。[结果/结论]年报语调越积极,企业环境信息披露质量越低;环境信息披露质量对环境绩效具有正向促进作用;年报积极语调负向调节了环境信息披露质量与环境绩效的相关性。

[Purpose/significance]The purpose is to explore the performance of corporate social responsibility reflected in the annual report and promote the double benefits of environmental performance and corporate performance.[Method/process]The paper obtains the tone of the annual report with text analysis of machine learning constructs the quality index of environmental information disclosure with the method of content analysis and discusses the relationship among the tone of the annual report the environmental information disclosure quality and environmental performance.[Result/conclusion]The results shows that the more positive the tone of the annual report is the lower quality of environmental information disclosure is;the quality of environmental information disclosure has a positive effect on environmental performance;the positive tone of the annual report negatively regulates the correlation between the quality of environmental information disclosure and environmental performance.
