This thesis studies the context which differentiate the usage of"ülü"and"ese"in Samdhinirmocana-sutra."ülü"mainly negates present and future tense verbs and occasionally adjectives and adverbs,"ese"mainly negates past tense verbs,and occasionally negates adjectives and adverbs.They both can negate a little number of verbs and adjectives,but their usages are differentiated in the above situation.
