新诗集序与初期新诗合法性建构

Prefaces of Modern Chinese Poetry Anthologies and Construction of Early Modern Chinese Poetry Legitimacy

早期新诗对如何在文学历史脉络中获得合理的位置,如何消除代表传统主流文学的“旧诗”所释放的压力,如何使知识分子乃至普通民众接受这一新式文体等要求十分迫切,新诗集序作为诗人们言说自我诗学主张和新诗发展理想的重要途径,以自己的特点与方式参与了为新诗正名的话语活动。新诗集序通过探寻中外文学发展脉络、完善新诗源头理论,为新诗寻找历史存在依据;序言不仅以对照旧诗的方式展现新诗现代品格,也不忘从传统文学中汲取有益养分,为转型与成长中的新诗提供新的诗学资源;此外,序言通过平等的姿态、谦逊恳挚的表达以及对新诗价值的陈述,努力从情感上消除读者怀疑并引导他们参与新诗建设之途。新诗集序从历史叙述、价值阐释与传播场域的开拓等不同维度推动了早期新诗的传播发展,成为参与初期新诗合法性建构的重要媒介。

The early modern Chinese poetry had urgent demands to obtain an appropriate position in the literary history,eliminate the pressure handed down from the classical poetry representing the mainstream literature and make the new poetic style acceptable to the public and intellectuals.Being an important path for the poets to elucidate their own poetological views and ideals of modern Chinese poetry,the prefaces of the modern Chinese poetry anthologies acted as a part of the discourse to construct the legitimacy of the modern Chinese poetry in their own unique ways.They sought historical evidence for the existence of modern Chinese poetry by exploring Chinese and foreign literary evolution and improving the original theories.They not only unfolded the modern qualities of the modern Chinese poetry by comparing it with the classical poetry,but also absorbed nourishment from traditional literature to provide new poetologoal sources for the modern Chinese poetry in transition.Besides,they dispelled the readers’emotional distrust on the new style poetry and guided them to participate in its development through equal communication,modest and sincere expression as well as value elucidation.They pushed forward the dissemination and development of early modern Chinese poetry from various dimensions including historical narration,value elucidation and dissemination field expansion,and thus became a significant medium to construct the legitimacy of early modern Chinese poetry.
