The operating parameters of ethylbenzene superheater(E-001)in Styrene unit deviate greatly from the design value,resulting in the failure of styrene unit to reach the design capacity.The possible causes of abnormal operation of ethylbenzene superheater are listed and analyzed in depth.Through analysis,the causes of large flow leakage or insufficient heat exchange area are eliminated.The possible cause is inaccurate instrument measurement.It is recommended to further verify the on-site flow/temperature instruments during plant maintenance.
