臭牡丹Clerodendrum bungei Steud.为马鞭草科大青属植物臭牡丹全草,为民间常用中草药,具有消肿解毒、活血散瘀之功效。通过对臭牡丹化学成分、药理作用及临床应用进行文献综述,总结出臭牡丹中含有苯乙醇苷类、萜类、甾醇类等多类化学成分;作用广泛,具有抗肿瘤、镇痛、抑菌及抗炎等诸多药理作用;临床上具有治疗荨麻疹、癌症及改善月经不调等作用。为臭牡丹的深入研究和开发利用提供参考。
