From Cultural Reproduction to Poor Family Culture--Rereading Paul Willis’s Learning to Work

社会与阶层流动一直是学界关注的重要问题。保罗·威利斯从文化生产的角度反思了阶层再生产的问题,并用能动性与创造性突破了传统上对于结构决定主义的认识,提出整体观和多元主义思考路径。近年来,“寒门”与“贵子”的讨论甚嚣尘上,诸多学者从政治、经济等社会结构层面分析了教育作为突破阶层固化的媒介面临着诸多张力,但他们忽视了其中存在“寒门文化”生产的过程,而如何解决这一问题,我们可以从当代的教育扶贫中寻求突破。

Social and class mobility has always been an important issue in academic circles.Paul·Willis re-flected on the problem of stratum reproduction from the perspective of cultural production,broke through the tra-ditional understanding of structural determinism with initiative and creativity,and put forward the holistic view and pluralistic thinking path.In recent years,the discussion between“poor door”and“noble son”has become rampant.Many scholars have analyzed that education,as a medium to break through the solidification of stratum,faces many tensions from the perspective of political,economic and other social structure,but they ignore the pro-duction process of“poor door culture”,and how to solve this problem can seek a breakthrough from the contem-porary poverty alleviation through education.
