When human body interacts closely with its environment,it will produce cognition, namely embodied cognition. In the research activities, students also have embodied cognitive activities when they study in the teaching environment. In recent years, the hot research travel,in fact, there are problems that research programs are not practical, the effect is not obvious and so on.If you try to improve students’physical and mental participation, making full use of the research environment can make the development of geography research more smoothly and meaningful. Therefore based on the guidance of embodied cognitive theory,It is proposed to design research activities according to the basic principles of situational, experiential and exploratory research objectives and design, and combined with the strategy of“sensory participation, psychosomatic unity and practical practice”pursued in teaching,so as to carry out research activities effectively.
