现当代作家对《定婚店》的重写主要表现为继承与改造。就继承而言,体现在作家们对故事情节进行敷演、套用其预叙手法和移植“婚姻定命”观。就改造而言,则表现为革新故事主题、拓新处理情节及凸显地域性特征。《定婚店》在现当代作家笔下发生变化,与他们所处的时代背景及个人的生活经历有关,也与作品接受者的审美心理有关。这一文学现象,揭橥古典和现代之间相互影响,古典为现代提供肥沃的创作土壤,而现代也在摄取与融入中扩容了古典。这促使我们进一步思索如何在古典和现代之间发挥更大的艺术效力,开拓更为广阔的叙事空间,创作出更深邃的文学经典。

The rewriting of Tang story Matrimony Inn by modern and contemporary Chinese writers is mainly manifested as inheritance and transformation.In terms of inheritance,it is mainly embodied in the writers’perfunctory evolution of the storyline,mechanical application of the pre-narrative techniques and transplantation of the view that“marriage is destiny”.As for transformation,it is manifested in innovating the theme of the story,developing and renovating the plot and highlighting regional characteristics.The changes in Matrimony Inn under the pen of modern and contemporary writers are related to their historical background,personal life experience,and to the aesthetic psychology of the recipients as well.This literary phenomenon reveals that there is a mutual influence between classics and modern works,and classics provide a fertile creative soil for modern works,while modern writings also expand classics in ingestion and integration.This prompts us to think further about how to exert greater artistic effect between classics and modern works,open up a broader narrative space,and create more profound literary classics.
