Research on the Theory and Practice of Experiential Foreign Language Teaching

摘要 不同于传统外语教学模式,体验式外语教学尊重学生的课堂主体地位,主张为学生提供轻松、愉快的学习氛围,引导学生在外语学习过程中发现自身不足并独立思考改进方案,切实提高自身的外语应用水平。首先从产生、内涵与机理,以及教学原则等三个方面介绍体验式外语教学模式;其次点明体验式外语教学两大理论基础,即克拉申情感过滤假说与考尔博四阶段理论;最后讲述体验式外语教学在实践中的具体应用,包括创造适宜学习环境、鼓励学生踊跃参与、帮助学生获得学习愉悦感及激发学生的学习动力。 Different from the traditional foreign language teaching mode,experiential foreign language teaching respects students’dominant position in the classroom,advocates providing students with a relaxed and pleasant learning atmosphere,and guides students to find their own shortcomings in the process of foreign language learning and think about improvement plans independently,so as to effectively improve their foreign language application level.First of all,from the perspective of foreign language teaching,this paper introduces the three principles of foreign language teaching.Then it points out the two theoretical bases of experiential foreign language teaching,namely Krashen’s affective filtering hypothesis and Kolbo’s four-stage theory.Finally,it describes the specific application of experiential foreign language teaching in practice,including creating a suitable learning environment,encouraging students to actively participate,helping students get a sense of learning pleasure and stimulating students’learning motivation.
