Clothing is not only a necessity in people’s life, but also a work of art integrating material and spirit. Applying calligraphy elements to clothing design can not only broaden the thinking of modern clothing design, but also promote the inheritance and development of calligraphy art. Clothing design and calligraphy art echo each other in form and spirit, which has brought new creative inspiration to clothing designers. This paper studies the application of calligraphy elements in clothing design.
