Cinnamomum cassia,not only a precious traditional Chinese medicinal material,but also a widely used spice,is widely cultivated in the tropical and subtropical regions of China for its extensive uses.In this paper,based on the biological characteristics of the species,a detailed introduction was made to the techniques including seedling cultivation,afforestation,tending management and harvesting and processing,so as to provide reference for the practitioners.
