Research progress on correlation between betatrophin and polycystic ovary syndrome

多囊卵巢综合征(PCOS)是一种临床表现复杂的综合征,主要表现为稀发排卵或无排卵、高雄激素血症以及超声下多囊卵巢,常伴有肥胖、血脂异常、胰岛素抵抗等代谢异常,其确切病因及发病机制仍不清楚。Betatrophin是一种分泌性蛋白质,与脂代谢和糖代谢密切相关。多项研究显示,PCOS患者血清betatrophin水平表达异常,且与代谢参数密切相关。本文主要从代谢紊乱、血管生成、慢性炎症等方面阐述betatrophin与PCOS的相关性,以期为PCOS的诊断和治疗提供新的思路。

Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) is a syndrome with complex clinical manifestations, characterized by rare ovulation or anovulation, hyperandrogenism and polycystic ovary under ultrasound, which is often accompanied by metabolic abnormalities such as obesity, dyslipidemia and insulin resistance. The exact etiology and pathogenesis are still unclear. Betatrophin is a secretory protein, which is closely related to lipid metabolism and glycometabolism. In recent years, many studies have shown that the level of betatrophin in serum of PCOS patients is abnormal and closely related to metabolic parameters. In this paper, the relationship between betatrophin and PCOS was discussed from the aspects of metabolic disorder, angiogenesis and chronic inflammation, so as to provide new ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of PCOS.
