Pirfenidone is a class of small-molecule compounds,and nintedanib is a trityrosine kinase inhibitor.The two drugs have anti-inflammatory,anti-fibrotic and anti-tumor effects.Both drugs are promising for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis(IPF).This article mainly introduces the general situation,mechanism of action and efficacy of pirfenidone and nintedanib,and briefly expounds the research progress of the two drugs in chemical synthesis,so as to provide reference for the researchers of the two drugs.
