摘要
目的 建立成人腭皱三维数字模型并研究其特征与性别的相关性。方法 本研究收集102名成人的上颌三维数字模型,男女各51名;记录腭皱型及两侧第一条腭皱的位置,并对其进行统计分析,以评价腭皱特征与性别的关系。结果 在不同性别人群中共观察到共850条腭皱,其中男性420条(49.41%),女性430条(50.59%)。直线形腭皱在男、女性中分别为23条和40条,曲线形腭皱在男、女性中分别为70条和99条,P <0.05,差异有统计学意义。右侧第一条腭皱位置在不同性别之间差异存在统计学意义,用其建立性别判别函数,鉴定准确率达74.2%。结论 腭皱型及两侧第一条腭皱的位置在不同性别间存在差异,可用于性别鉴定。
Objective The aim of the study is to establish 3D digital models of palatal rugae and to investigate the correlation between the characteristics of palatal rugae and gender. Methods In this study, the 3D digital models belonging to 102 adults(51 males and 51 females) were examined. Correlation between the characteristics of palatal rugae and gender were analyzed. Results A total of 850 palatal rugae had been identified, of which 420(49.41%) were in males and 430(50.59%) were in females. There were 23 straight palatal rugae in males and 40 in females. And there were 70 curvy palatal rugae in males and 99 in females. Differences in the number of both straight and curvy rugae between males and females were found to be statistically significant. Difference in the position of the first palatal rugae on the right side of rugae between males and females was found to be statistically significant. Discriminant function analysis enabled sex identification with an accuracy of 74.2%. Conclusion This preliminary study undertaken showed differences between males and females in both the palatal rugae pattern and the position of the first palatal rugae in gender. And palatal rugae can be used for sex identification.
