马来西亚是东南亚典型的多元族群国家,目前已成为发展中国家中增长最快的国家之一。马来西亚高等教育国际化起步虽晚,却在“区域卓越高等教育枢纽”的战略目标下,逐步形成东南亚地区最具国际化特色的发展格局。在经济全球化影响下高等教育的国际化语境中,马来西亚高等教育国家政策随时流变,其高等教育国际化的表现形式特色鲜明,体现了马来西亚高等教育国际化的深层价值取向。

Malaysia is a typical multi-ethnic country in Southeast Asia.At present,Malaysia has become one of the fastest growing countries in the developing world.Although internationalization of higher education in Malaysia starts late,it has gradually become the most international development pattern with distinctive features in Southeast Asia under the strategic goal of“regional hub of excellence in higher education”.In the context of the internationalization of higher education under the infl uence of economic globalization,the national policy of higher education in Malaysia changes all the time with distinctive forms of expression,revealing the deep value orientation of higher education internationalization in Malaysia.
