新工科建设以新技术、新业态、新产业、新模式为特点,以“培养德学兼修、德才兼备的高素质工程人才”为目标,研究生思想政治理论课作为新工科高素质工程人才培养的重要组成部分,承载着培养新工科人才之“德”的重要责任。由于人才培养目标任务、时代背景、模式抓手、标准要求都发生深刻变化,使新工科研究生思想政治理论课教学面临诸多新情况,亟待通过更新思想观念、建强师资队伍、优化课程内容、突出学生中心和拓展教学空间等加强改革创新,使思想政治理论课紧跟时代发展,适应新工科高素质人才培养需要。

New engineering is characterized by new technology,new forms of business,new industries and new modes,which aims at"cultivating high quality engineering talents with both moral and academic integrity and ability".As an important part of cultivating high-quality engineering talents for new engineering,the course of ideological and political theory for postgraduates bears the important responsibility of cultivating the morality of new engineering talents.Due to the talent training objectives and tasks,the background of the Times,mode and standard requirements have undergone profound changes,which make the new engineering graduate students ideological and political theory class teaching face many new situations.It is urgent to strengthen the reform and innovation by updating the ideology,strengthening the teaching staff,optimizing the course content,highlighting the student center and expanding the teaching space,making the ideological and political theory class keep abreast of the Times,and adapting to the new engineering talents cultivating.
