摘要
脑源性神经营养因子(BDNF)是一种具有神经营养作用的蛋白质,广泛分布于中枢神经系统及周围组织,其中以海马和皮质的含量最高。BDNF可参与神经元及胶质细胞正常结构和功能的维持以及突触可塑性调节,在脑功能的维持及脑疾病的发生发展中起重要作用。BDNF还参与食欲及糖脂代谢的调控,并可通过炎症免疫应答、氧化应激损伤等多种途径参与T2DM认知功能障碍的发生发展。本文对BDNF在T2DM认知功能障碍机制中作用的研究进展进行综述,为揭示T2DM认知功能障碍的发病机制提供依据。
Brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)is a kind of neurotrophic protein widely distributed in the central nervous system and peripheral tissues,the most abundant of which is inthe hippocampus and cortex.Increasing evidence have demonstrated the important role of BDNF in the maintenance of brain function and the occurrence of brain diseases.Targeting at its role in linking metabolism disorders with neuropsychiatric diseases,many results of clinical research and animal studies have demonstrated that BDNF is involved in the regulation of appetite and glucose and lipid metabolism.More importantly,BDNF might play a role in the pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)associated cognitive dysfunction,the mechanism of which might be involved in regulating inflammatory immune response and oxidative stress injury via.In this paper,we review the progress about the role of BDNF in the pathogenesis T2DM associated cognitive dysfunction,which will be helpful to further explore the biological role of BDNF and declare the pathogenesis of T2DM associated cognitive dysfunction.
