ZHAO Yuyong’s Experience in Treating Chronic Kidney Disease with “Eight Methods of Unblocking Kidney Collaterals”

总结赵玉庸教授运用“通肾络八法”治疗慢性肾脏病的临证经验。认为肾络瘀阻是慢性肾脏病的病变核心,治疗以疏通肾络为关键。慢性肾脏病不同时期病因、病机表现不一,根据其不同阶段的症状表现,综合运用活血化瘀通肾络法、祛风胜湿通肾络法、祛湿泄浊通肾络法、清热解毒通肾络法、气阴双补通肾络法、温阳补气通肾络法、消癥散结通肾络法、虫类搜剔通肾络法八法,以减轻患者症状,延缓病情发展。

This paper summarized ZHAO Yuyong’s clinical experience in treating chronic kidney disease with “eight methods of unblocking kidney collaterals”.It is believed that“stasis obstructing the kidney collaterals” is the main pathogenesis of chronic kidney disease,and the treatment should put focus on unblocking the kidney collaterals.As the etiology and pathogenesis vary between different stages of chronic kidney disease,it is suggested to differentiate the symptoms and take the eight methods of unblocking kidney collaterals appropriately,so as to relieve the symptoms and delay the progression.The eight methods to unblock kidney collaterals are invigorating blood and dissolving stasis method,dispelling wind and overcoming dampness method,dispelling dampness and directing the turbid downward method,clearing heat and resolving toxins method,supplementing both qi and yin method,warming yang and supplementing qi method,eliminating concretions and dissipating masses method,and the detecting and picking-out methods with insects.
