Investigation of Knowledge, Belief and Practice of Garbage Classification among Medical Students and Analysis of Influencing Factors

目的:在了解医学生垃圾分类知、信、行现状的基础上,积极引导大学生加入生活垃圾分类投放的志愿者队伍,并逐步培养大学生垃圾分类投放的习惯、环保意识和社会责任,从而推动校园节能减排以及绿色校园的建设。方法:采用随机抽样法,选取在校学生作为调查对象进行问卷调查。结果:不同性别医学生垃圾分类行为不存在统计学差异(t=1.292,p=0.197,t=-0.729,p=0.467);有垃圾分类经历的医学生KAP总分高于无垃圾分类经历组(t=3.741,t=0.000)。性别和有无垃圾分类经历是医学生垃圾分类KAP得分的主要影响因素。结论:大多数医学生对于生活垃圾分类的自觉性、积极性不高,且垃圾分类相关知识水平较低,导致垃圾分类效果不理想。因此,学院系部及学生社团应加强垃圾分类实践活动和有关知识的培训,可通过宣传督导和激励机制,改善医学生垃圾分类态度和行为,以此为学院开展生活垃圾分类工作提供帮助。

Objective: On the basis of understanding the status quo of medical students’ knowledge, knowledge and practice of garbage classification, actively guide college students to join the volunteer team of household garbage classification, and gradually cultivate the habit, environmental awareness and social responsibility of college students’ garbage classification, so as to promote the construction of campus energy conservation and emission reduction and green campus.Methods: Random sampling method was selected as survey subjects.Results: There was no statistical difference in garbage classification behavior among different gender medical students(t=1.292,p=0.197, t=-0.729, p=0.467);the total KAP score of medical students with garbage classification experience was higher than that with no garbage classification experience(t=3.741, t=0.000).Sex and garbage classification experience were the main factors affecting the KAP scores for medical students.Conclusion: Most medical students do not have high awareness and enthusiasm for garbage classification, and their knowledge level of garbage classification is low, which leads to unsatisfactory garbage classification effect.Therefore, the departments and student associations of the college should strengthen the practical activities of garbage classification and the training of relevant knowledge, and improve the attitude and behavior of garbage classification of medical students through publicity,supervision and incentive mechanism, so as to provide help for the college to carry out the work of garbage classification.
