摘要
汉语完成情状非终结解读的来源,一直是学界关注的热点,学者们一般是基于单语素完成情状的终结语义暗含而非蕴含,对其进行解释的。在回顾前人对动量词“次”与有界和无界动词的组合研究的基础上,借助语料库和Liu的实验结果,通过句法语义分析,可以发现,动量词“次”与单语素的梯度与非梯度的完成情状组合后,极大地促进了该完整体形式句子(有动后“了”)的非终结解读。当表述失败的非终结完成事件时,“次”则会凸显过程和途径,并提取出现在时间轴上密集而持续的动作量。
The source of non-culminating reading of Chinese accomplishments has aroused a heated discussion in the literature.Scholars often gave accounts based on the implied but not entailed result meaning of Chinese monomorphemic accomplishments.This paper reviews previous studies on the collocation of verbal classifier“cì(次)”and telic as well as atelic verbs,quotes the linguistic data and the experimental results,and conducts lexical as well as syntactic analysis.We propose that when verbal classifier“cì(次)”modifies the gradable or ungradable accomplishment verb,it greatly enhances the non-culminating reading.When the event fails,“cì(次)”helps discard the maximized result,delimits and highlights the process and the path.
