A Comparative Study of Prison Police Law Enforcement and Individual Conversation Language

执法语言和个别谈话是监狱人民警察经常使用于两种不同语境的语言。因为都是口头语言,所以二者倾向于使用短句(包括短分句)。但是,由于使用语境不同,二者又各有特点。主要体现在:第一,执法语言中表身份的主题词“警察”相比于个别谈话语言使用有显著性差异;第二,“不得”这类表强制语气的词一般只在执法语言中出现;第三,个别谈话中表疑问的标点(问号)、疑问词(组)、语气词出现频率较高。

Law enforcement language and individual conversation are two languages often used by the Prison Police in different contexts.Because they are both oral language,they tend to use short sentences(including short clauses).However,due to the different context of use,they have their own characteristics.It is mainly reflected in:first,there are significant differences in the use of the subject word"police"in law enforcement language compared with individual conversation language;Second,the mandatory mood words such as"no"generally only appear in the language of law enforcement;Third,punctuation(question mark),interrogative words(Group)and modal particles in individual conversations appear more frequently.
