摘要
在英语阅读教学中,提问在发展学生的语言能力和思维品质方面起着关键作用。教师需根据学生的思维和语言发展特点及规律,通过一系列有层次的问题链来引领学生开展阅读过程,引发思考,使学生在信息解码、信息加工、意义建构、批判质疑、多维表达的过程中,逐步发展逻辑性、批判性、创新性等思维能力,成为有独立见解和思考能力的阅读者。而课堂提问包括两个方面:“问什么”和“怎么问”。本文将从这两个方面,探讨教师在阅读教学中提升学生思维品质的提问策略。
In English reading teaching,questioning plays a key role in cultivating and developing students’language competence and thinking quality.According to the characteristics of students’thinking and language competence,teachers should design a series of effective questions to help them focus on reading,think about the questions,analyze the issue,process the information,create their own ideas and express them properly.In this way,students can develop their abilities and their quality of logical thinking,critical thinking and innovative thinking,and become independent readers with unique understanding.Class questioning involves two aspects:asking what and how to ask.The article probes into some questioning strategies in English reading teaching for cultivating thinking quality from the two aspects above.
