摘要
熟练运用医学专业英语知识是医学生获取最新医学信息、进行国际医学科研交流的必备专业技能。由于医学英语专业性强、词汇数目庞大、结构冗长,医学生面临缺乏针对性的辅助学习软件与方法、词汇与语境联系被割裂、难于记忆等学习困境。本文通过调查问卷发现提高文献阅读能力是医学生学习医学英语词汇的首要目的。将医学词汇与医学专业知识有机结合,并以医学情境和专业文献辅助学习是医学生最推崇的学习方法。探讨了医学英语词汇的理解和记忆的学习技巧,为医学生有效掌握专业英语词汇和提高医学英语水平提供借鉴。
Mastering medical professional English is a necessary skill for medical students to obtain the latest medical information and conduct international medical research exchange.Due to the strong specialty,the large quantity and the complex structure of medical English,medical students are faced with the learning difficulties such as the lack of targeted auxiliary learning software and methods,the disconnection between vocabulary and context,and the difficulty in memorizing.This paper found that improving the literature reading ability is the primary purpose of medical students to learn medical English vocabulary.Organic combination of medical vocabulary,medical professional knowledge and assisted learning by medical situation and professional literature is the most respected learning method for medical students.Based on this,we discuss the learning skills of understanding and memorizing medical English vocabulary,which can provide reference for the majority of medical students to effectively master professional English vocabulary and improve their medical English level.
