美国哈佛燕京图书馆藏《明诸名家尺牍》所载手札的几个问题

Several Issues Contained in the Collection of Famous Masters of Ming Dynasty Collected by Harvard Yenching Library in the United States

美国哈佛大学哈佛燕京图书馆藏《明诸名家尺牍》所含历史信息极为丰富。通过对其相关历史信息系统考察我们发现,其手札作者地域分布不均衡,从空间上看呈南多北少的分布状态;手札主人公方用彬社会交往活动类型多样,其中文化交往活动分布较为广泛,但主要集中于南直隶,而经济交往活动、宗族交往活动及其他交往活动则囿于歙县一地。这种分布状态与方用彬本人热衷于文化活动及其商业经营方式、规模密切相关,是其儒商心态及行为的重要体现。

The historical information contained in the Famous Masters of Ming Dynasty of the Harvard Yenching Library of Harvard University in the United States is extremely rich.Through the investigation of its related historical information system,we find that the authors of the letters were unevenly distributed,and were spatially distributed in the south and the north;the recipient of the letters Fang Yongbin took part in a variety of social activities,including cultural activities that were widely distributed,but mainly concentrated in Nanzhili.However,economic activities,clan activities and other activities are confined to She County.This distribution is closely related to Fang Yongbin’s passion for cultural activities and his business management methods and scale,which is an important manifestation of the Confucian businessmen’s mentality and behavior.
