About the Role of Ningbo Business Group in the Modern Development of China’s Banking Industry

宁波商帮是中国传统“十大商帮”之一,自始至终伴随着中国银行业的兴起与发展。我国第一家“中国通商银行”即宁波人参与创办和管理的。从清光绪二十三年间——抗日战争胜利时期,中国经济困难重重,但宁波商帮团结一致,开拓创新,建立新型管理制度,以诚信立业,以特色经营取胜,在完成自身从旧式钱庄制度向现代银行业转型的同时,推进了中国近代银行业的形成和发展。

Ningbo Business Group is one of China’s traditional Business Group’s,which has accompanied the rise and development of China’s banking industry.The first Commercial Bank of China was founded and managed by Ningbo people.From the 23rd year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty to the victory of the Anti-Japanese War,China’s economy was in great difficulties,but the Ningbo Business Group united,pioneered and innovated,established a new management system,established a business with integrity,and win in the end.While they completed their own transformation from the old bank system to the modern banking industry,they also promoted the formation and development of China’s modern banking industry.
