在抗菌药物广泛应用的今天,重症肺炎仍然是人类生命健康的重大威胁,尤其是对于进展为脓毒症和脓毒症休克的患者。许多疾病进展到危重阶段的本质都是宿主的免疫失衡,近年来相关研究的进展使我们对免疫反应和免疫失衡有了更深刻的认识,免疫调节治疗也为重症肺炎的救治提供了新的思路,同时也有一些令人欣喜的研究成果。然而,由于免疫反应网络的复杂性,如何准确、动态评估重症肺炎的免疫状态仍是未解决的难题,免疫调节治疗在临床中的应用仍需更多研究进一步探索。

Severe pneumonia is still a major threat to human life and health although antibiotics have been widely used nowadays,especially to the life and health of patients who have developed sepsis and septic shock.The essence of many diseases in critical stage is dysregulated or dysfunctional host immune response.In recent years,scientific advances have enabled us to have more profound understanding of immune response and immunological dysfunction.Immunomodulation therapy has provided us with new approaches to the treatment of critical disease with some positive results.However,due to the complexity of the immune response network,it remains a core problem about how to accurately and dynamically evaluate the immune status of severe pneumonia,and there still needs more research and further exploration are needed for application of immunomodulatory therapy in clinical practice.
