Organizing students to participate in the National University Students Intelligent Car Race is an effective way to cultivate their engineering ability and research and development ability.The practice shows that participating in the intelligent car race has an obvious promoting effect on improving students’comprehensive quality.In this process of exploration,the construction method of the competition innovation practice platform was explored,the enterprise product research and development management process was used for preparation and the management method was adopted to build the competition team and motivate the members,which effectively promoted the engineering practice ability and research and development ability of the participating students.
