CoronaVirus Disease-2019(COVID-19)was caused by a new type of coronavirus,which is highly contagious,and people are generally susceptible to acute infectious diseases.Jiangxi medical staff of traditional Chinese medicine have actively carried out epidemic prevention and control work,and believed that the epidemic should be a mixed epidemic of cold,dampness,warm and turbid viruses.It has formed prevention and control ideas by Jiangxi TCM such as“unity of cold and Warm”,“treatment in accordance with three categories of etiologic factors”,“treating the same disease with different methods”,“prevention before disease onset”,etc.It has applied the characteristic prescriptions,such as the prevention prescription for the general population and the prevention prescription for the frail population were launched for public epidemic prevention,and the Sanhan Chushi Kangdu prescription,Qingre Huashi Kangdu prescription,Wenfei Huaxianprescription were used to treat the patients with new crown pneumonia in light,ordinary and severe recovery stage.Xiaochaihu decoction plus modified formula also showed good curative effect in the treatment of ordinary patients.In addition,fumigation and washing of TCM,heat-sensitive moxibustion treatment and Qigong therapy were also used by Jiangxi TCM.The ideas and characteristics methods of traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of COVID-19in Jiangxi province have achieved remarkable results,which can provide reference for follow-up epidemic prevention.
