Analysis of Color and Form Composition in contemporary oil painting--takes the study of David Hockney paintings as an example

自19世纪末20世纪初以来,油画在绘画的语言和形式上趋于单纯和平面化,更加倾向于表现画面的装饰效果,从而确立了崭新的绘画形式和发展方向。其中,艺术家大卫•霍克尼就是当代绘画的代表之一,他的艺术作品对本人的油画创作和研究产生了重要的启发借鉴作用。通过分析大卫•霍克尼的色彩和构成,使自己对油画创作有更深层次的认识。

Since the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century,oil painting tends to be simple and flat in the language and form of painting,and is more inclined to show the decorative effect of the picture,thus establishing a new painting form and development direction.Among them,the artist David Hockney is one of the representatives of contemporary painting,and his art works have produced an important inspiration for his oil painting creation and research.The first part of this paper mainly discusses the occurrence and development trend of contemporary painting;the second part describes the contemporary painting creation from color,picture composition and content,which takes Hockney painting as an example;the third part mainly studies the development of modern and contemporary painting and my conclusion.The research point is to analyze the color and composition to create a deeper understanding of David Hockney.The research method is through the collection of books on contemporary paintings and Hockney's picture albums,autobiography,books and other documents.
