论民国时期文言碑志的“新境界”

民国时期存在数量庞大、风格多样的旧体文学作品,学界早前对此缺乏足够关注。文言碑志是民国时期旧体文学重要板块之一。该时期的文言碑志在社会剧变刺激下,题材出现了显著的扩容。文言碑志非常注重宣扬革命和国族观念,并增加了“新民”和惩警等新功能,开辟了碑志发展的“新境界”。民国时期文言碑志是中国文学史、碑志文化史的重要组成部分,在创作上与时俱进,非常注重古典形式与现代精神的融合,为当代碑志创作提供了有益的参照与借鉴,对民国时期文言碑志的研究还具有方法论上的启示意义,反映了中国传统文类不断改变以适应新的时代、新文化的需要。

In the period of the Republic of China, there were a large number of old-style literary works with various styles, but academic attention was not paid enough to them. Classical inscription is an important part. Stimulated by the social upheaval, its subjects expanded significantly during this period. Classical inscriptions focus on promoting the concepts of revolution and the nation, and include, in addition new functions such as "new people" and punishment of police, which opens up a "new horizon" for the development of inscriptions. During the period of the republic of China, classical Chinese inscription, an important part of the history of Chinese literature, developed in its creation to advance with times, focusing on the integration of classical forms with modern spirit, which is significantly beneficial reference for the creation of contemporary inscriptions, in addition to the methodological study of the classical Chinese inscriptions during the Republic of China. They reflect the Chinese traditional genre constantly changes to adapt to the new era and the needs of the new culture.
