The Foreign Resources of Guo Moruo’s Early Poems

郭沫若早期小诗众多,并且多半具有明显的外来性特征,与中国古代传统文化相去甚远。其小诗在题材、主题、思想、意象、词语和体式等方面,都与外国诗歌和文学产生了密切的关系。对外来文化的直接引用或间接运用,给他的小诗带来了鲜明的特色和浓厚的异域色彩。而之所以如此,主要是时代的选择与文化的选择,当然,也与他当时在日本留学的经历与自我的经验存在密切的联系。

Guo Moruo’s early poems are numerous, and most of them have obvious foreign characteristics, far from the traditional Chinese culture. His short poems establishment a fairly close relationship with foreign poetry and literature in terms of subject matters, themes, thoughts,images, words and styles. The direct quotations or indirect use of foreign culture bring distinctive features and strong exotic colors to his poems,which mainly result from the choice of the times and his choice among different cultures, as well as his experience of studying in Japan at that time.
