Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Liuwei Dihuang Pills combined with metformin in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. Methods From April 2018 to July 2020,94 patients with type 2 diabetes in thehospital were selected as the subjects. The random number table method was divided into the control group(metformin treatment)and the observation group(Liuwei Dihuang pill combined with metformin). The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results Before treatment, there was no significant difference in blood glucose and blood lipid levels between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the blood glucose level of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the total cholesterol(TC),triacylglycerol(TG),and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)were lower than those in the control group, and the differences was statistically significant(P<0.05).The effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 93.62%higher than that in the control group 76.60%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Liuwei Dihuang pills combined with metformin in type 2 diabetes can improve blood glucose and blood lipid, has a significant therapeutic effect.
