党的十八大以来,以习近平同志为核心的党中央将坚持党的全面领导作为做好党和国家各项工作的根本保证,只有坚持党对高校教育事业的全面领导,才能在更高水平上实现高校教育战线思想上的统一、政治上的团结、行动上的一致,才能确保高校教育事业发展的正确方向,才能坚定走好中国特色社会主义教育发展道路。把培养社会主义建设者和接班人作为高校教育工作的根本任务,为决胜全面建成小康社会、实现中华民族伟大复兴奠定更扎实的人才支撑。

Since the 18th CPC National Congress,the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has regarded adhering to the overall leadership of the Party as the fundamental guarantee for the success of the Party and the state.Only by adhering to the Party’s overall leadership over the cause of higher education in colleges and universities,can we achieve ideological unity,political unity and unity in action on the educational front in colleges and universities at a higher level,and ensure the correct direction of the development of the educational cause in colleges and universities.Only in this way can we firmly follow the road of educational development of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Regard the training of socialist builders and successors as the fundamental task of higher education,and we can lay a more solid talent support for the decisive victory of building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
