西安市西郊贺家寨唐墓M3、M29发掘简报

Excavation of Tang Tombs M3 and M29 in Hejiazhai in the Western Suburb of Xi’an

2019年7月,西安市文物保护考古研究院与南开大学历史学院考古学与博物馆学系在西安市联合发掘了一批唐代墓葬。其中M3、M29保存状况良好,皆为长斜坡墓道单室土洞墓,出土器物较多,包括镇墓兽、天王俑、人俑、动物俑、石猪和铜镜等。据墓葬形制及出土遗物,判断两座墓葬的墓主人应为低级官吏。两座墓葬的发掘为西安地区唐代墓葬研究提供了新的资料。

In July 2019,archaeologists from Xi'an Municipal Institute of Cultural Relics Preservation and Archacology and Nankai University's Department of Archaeology and Museology jointly excavated a number of Tang tombs in Xian.Two single-chambered cave tombs M3 and M29,cach with a long and sloping tomb passage,have been found well-preserved and containing comparatively more cultural relics,including tomb-guard beasts,figurines of heavenly kings,humans and animals,jade pig and bronze mirror.The structure of M3 and M29 and unearthed items indicate that the tomb occupants should be low-ranking officials.With the excavation of M3 and M29,new archaeological evidence has been collcted for the research into Tang tombs in the vicinity of Xi'an.
