Objective:To analyze the clinical application effect of small incision in corneal limbus of cataract. Methods:A total of 74 cataract patients treated in People's Hospital of Yanzhou District of Jining City from September 2019 to September 2020 were selected as the subjects of this study.According to the parity of medical record ranking numbers, the patients were divided into two groups, with 37 patients in each group. All patients in the control group were treated with conventional scleral tunnel incision for phacoemulsification, while all the patients in the observation group were treated with small incision in corneal limbus for phacoemulsification. The improvement effect of postoperative visual acuity and the postoperative complications of two different surgical methods were compared. Results:There was no statistically significant difference in preoperative visual acuity between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment, the visual acuity of patients in two groups was improved, and the comprehensive improvement effect of postoperative visual acuity in the observation group was better than that in the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:The small incision in corneal limbus of cataract can effectively restore vision after operation, and the risk of complications is low.
