The Teaching Model Construction of the Course A Glimpse of Chinese Culture from the Perspective of New Liberal Arts

新文科背景下,大学英语后续拓展课程“中国文化概况”应以“产出导向法”为理论指导,在教学流程上遵循输入促成、输出驱动、产出评价的单元结构设计,在教学内容上兼顾“大文化”和“小文化”,与西方文化形成鲜明对比的同时,着眼于传播中国文化和家国情怀,搭建线上线下混合教学模式,致力于学习者在跨文化交际活动中的情感、行为和认知等综合能力的提高。运用“互联网+”进行混合式教学,在课程构建中关注跨文化交际,提高学习者自身的内涵式交流能力,推动中国文化走出去。

Corresponding to the new liberal arts education,A Glimpse of Chinese Culture,one of the follow-up English courses,based itself on the Product-Oriented Approach(POA)theory,focused on the input-stimulated,output-driven and product-evaluated teaching procedure and centered in both macro and micro cultures in teaching contents.Therefore,this teaching model was constructed to form a contrast between eastern and western culture and disseminate Chinese culture and national feelings.By setting up the blinded teaching model,the course focused on improving the learners’comprehensive ability in affection,behavior,and cognition during the cross-cultural communications.In addition,through“Internet+”online and offline teaching and paying special attention to cross-cultural communications,the course aimed at enhancing the learners’self-contained communication competence and introducing the Chinese culture to the world.
