变迁视角下代际经济互助支持对老年人心理健康的影响——基于灰色关联分析

Influence of intergenerational financial support on mental health of the elderly from the perspective of transition:A report based on grey correlation analysis

目的研究在变迁中代际经济互助和老年人心理健康之间的关联度大小,助力中国老年人心理健康事业的发展。方法采用2008—2018年中的5次CHARLS数据库,建立了代际经济互助和老年人心理健康指标体系,采用灰色关联分析进行关联度大小的计算。结果所选指标灰色关联度均大于0.5,说明选取的参考数列具有一定的科学性;老年人孤独感和抑郁感的主要影响因素关联度排序相同,排前两位的因素是“老年人给予父母经济帮助”和“子女给予老年人经济帮助”,而愉快感的第一影响因素是“子女给予老年人经济帮助”,均呈现正相关。结论老年人孤独感和抑郁感人数在老年人口中占比达到两三千万左右,国家和社会要更关注老年人心理健康,营造氛围,政府要通过政策改善代际经济互助情况,子女要同时做好物质赡养和精神赡养。

Objective To study the correlation between intergenerational financial support and mental health of the elderly in the process of change,and to help the development of mental health care of the elderly in China.Methods Using CHARLS database in 5 respective years during 2008-2018,we established the index system of intergenerational financial support and mental health of the elderly,and calculated the correlation degree by grey correlation analysis.Results The grey correlation degrees of the selected indexes were all greater than 0.5,indicating that the selected reference series had a certain scientific nature.The main influencing factors of loneliness and depression of the elderly were in the same order of correlation degree,the top two factors were the elderly giving financial support to their parents and the children giving financial support to the elderly,and the first influencing factor of happiness was the children giving financial support to the elderly,both showing positive correlation.Conclusions Loneliness and depression among the elderly accounts for about 20 to 30 million people in the elderly population.The state and society should pay more attention to the mental health of the elderly and create a positive atmosphere for them.The government should improve intergenerational financial support through policies,and the children should provide both material and spiritual support.
