In order to ensure the quality of food safety detection and strengthen food supervision,based on the relevant concepts of atomic absorption spectrometer,this paper analyzes the necessity of applying atomic absorption spectrometer in food,and studies in detail the specific application of atomic absorption spectrometer in the detection of animal derived food,agricultural products and dairy products,as well as the daily maintenance methods of atomic absorption spectrometer,so as to highlight the use value of atomic absorption spectrometer in the field of food.
