道光二十二年廓尔喀来华表贡使团研究

The Arji-Tribute Mission of the Gurkha in the Twenty-second Year of the Daoguang Reign

道光二十二年值廓尔喀例贡之年,按照惯例向清廷派出了表贡使团。根据多语种史料,尤其是利用了廓尔喀语原始档案,本文对该使团进行详细考察,包括使团出发前的准备,使团的委派与构成,使团在拉萨的活动,使团在北京的朝觐活动,使团回国与意外事件,使团的经济开支等方面。最后简要探讨该使团的性质与作用,认为道光二十二年廓尔喀使团的政治性质较为明显,在向清廷表贡的同时,也充当廓尔喀王求援的工具与媒介。

In accordance with the regulations on tribute,the Kingdom of Nepal sent a mission to the Qing court in the twenty-second year of Daoguang reign.Based on the multilingual historical materials,especially the original Gurkha archives,this article undertakes a detailed investigation of the tribute mission.The article examines preparations,the delegates and the composition of the mission,the route taken,activities in Lhasa,the audience at the court in Beijing,accidents that occurred on the return trip,as well as the expenditures and other related matters.The article also briefly discusses the nature of the mission and role and concludes that the political nature of the mission of political was obvious.While paying Arji-Tribute to Qing court the mission also served as a tool and medium for the Kingdom of Nepal to request assistance from the Qing court.
