摘要
美国记者埃德加·斯诺撰写的《红星照耀中国》是新闻史上一部具有里程碑意义的作品。本文结合这部通讯汇编在中国的翻译与出版,探讨了回译过程中翻译规范对文本选择与译者行为的导向与制约作用,具体分析了操作规范在实现回译评价标准中的践行过程。分析表明,《红星照耀中国》的翻译与出版是翻译规范推动与制约下的一次文化复原,对原作内容的积极引导与接纳,对原文风格的准确把握和译者超凡的素养成就了我国翻译史上的一次经典。
Red Star over China by American journalist Edgar Snow is a landmark work in the history of journalism.On the analysis of the translation and publication of this book in China,the article discusses the role of translation norms in text selection and translator's behavior in the process of back translation,and explores the implementation of operational norm in back translation evaluation standards.The analysis shows that the Chinese translation of Red Star over China is a culture restoration under the promotion and restriction of translation norms.The positive guidance and acceptance of the original content,the reproduction of the original style and the translator's extraordinary literacy have helped achieve a classic in the history of translation in China.
