针刺治疗视网膜色素变性的研究进展

Research progress of acupuncture in the treatment of retinitis pigmentosa

视网膜色素变性(RP)是一类以进行性感光细胞和色素上皮细胞功能障碍及丧失为特征的遗传性疾病,作为世界上常见的一类致盲性眼病,西医至今仍缺乏安全高效的治疗方法。中医针刺在治疗和改善视功能上具有重要作用,对于视功能减退相关的眼病及众多眼科疑难病症治疗展现出明显的特色和优势。文章总结近年来针刺治疗RP的临床及实验研究进展,从针刺取穴、手法及治法等方面进行分析,从相关机制研究中进一步证实针刺的优势效用,并提出中医针刺治疗RP的不足与展望。

Retinitis pigmentosa(RP),a genetic disease,is characterized by progressive dysfunction and loss of lightsensitive cells and pigment epithelial cells.As a common blind-causing eye disease globally,there is still a lack of safe and effective treatment in western medicine.Acupuncture of traditional Chinese medicine plays an essential role in the treatment and improvement of visual function.It has apparent characteristics and advantages in treating eye diseases related to visual function decline and many complex ocular conditions.This review paper has summarized the clinical and experimental research progress of acupuncture in the treatment of RP in recent years,and analyzed the acupuncture point selection,manipulation,and therapy,etc..We also confirmed the advantages of acupuncture from the relevant mechanism research and put forward the shortcomings and prospects of acupuncture in the treatment of RP.
